Well I've had a little coupe s as a daily runner for the last few months, its done me nearly 6k faultless miles and gone through many changes

from this

to this

DSC01201.jpg

DSC01200.jpg

with this rather nice list of goodies

HnR Cup Kit - 60/60

PPS Subframe & Wishbone Conversion

10mm Lowering Top Caps

G40 Steering Damper

G40 Tie Rods

G40 TCAs

G-Laderseite TCA Polybushes

14 x 7 OZ Routes + 195/45/14 Pirelli's

Homebrew Rear Light Tints similar to Late Mk3 Spec

Removed Rub Strips

Custom S/S Exhaust - Single silencer system with straight through centre section, built by Custom Exhausts in Cymbran.

Cat 2 Alarm / Immobiliser

But then someone decided to put a mk1 golf gti small light up for swaps, so hes having the coupe s with std interior so i get to keep my bucket seats, harnesses and pretensioners and the subframe/wishbone conversion, straight swap but I'm putting 6 months tax on it

its a bit rotten in places but I've got all the neccessary repair panels and its taxed and tested for a year nearly so ill be able to drive it to me welder woop woop

the golf wont go through a restoration until the lupolos done as I've got to finish that before the summer :nods: but its gonna get the rusty bits cleaned up and por-15d until the end of the month when i can go visit mr welday and get her patched up, gonna be a ratty runabout (in the sense that its my daily and it wont be all one perfect shade of black, no shitty roof racks or other gashness shall adorn this beasty)

probably just strip it out, stick the corbeau reclining buckets and harnesses in there until i get round to getting bases made up for the tartan recaros that were destined for the muppet. engine wise, undecided whether to stay with the 1.6 gti lump, had the same engine before with a p+p head, piper cam, audi tb and other goodies and it sounded and went like fuckin schweetness, but they may (just may) be a ex brm motorsport 140bhp lump finding its way there

Nice to have you back in the Flog brigade!!! :-)

Nice, not feeling those wheels but I know they came off the flaming kermit (sad days) paint them black.

Black and red is the way forward with these cars because their low on chrome anyway.

Nothing wrong with red, I f**king hate white cars (don't want to drive in a car that looks like a fridge lol.) but i never usually dish out the abuse that red seems to get. I agree it's a bitch to prevent the pink nightmare fade but when a red car is polished they look great.

Jealous of the Golf too, it has just enough welding jobs on it that I reckon I could manage without having a nose bleed. Unlike my caddy which is gradually becoming a red/orangey farmyard trailer park nightmare.

polo looks sick like that!

Just don't go setting fire to this one right?

well this weekend was a bit of an epic one.

down to d-town after work friday for a chiller sesh with chazbots, karl and steve.

Saturday was fuelled by the best chilli bean, cheese and beans jacket potato, me and karl stripped the wee coupe of the subframe, stuck the old anti roll bar on and put the std interior back in, was a very chilled out affair and despite it being freezing after 5 minutes of working we were well toasty

so all was good and we set off home for a beast of a lasagne and some motherfuckin 51st state =D

soo sunday morning and the mission commenced

part1 was the trip down to wiltshire, 140 miles, epic amounts of snow, some huge hills, ice made driving on non main roads interesting to say the least and karl had to push us as we got beached at one point.

reverse rake merc, fuxxored
