heylo, last nite i was changing my standard steering wheel for a sports steering wheel. when i was taking the orignial off i diconnected the yellow connector out of th eair bag and disconnected the horn and took the wheel off. but my mate snapped the cord that was connected to the airbag.

does this mean my car thinks the air bags gone off or will it just cause the airbag light to come on or what will it do?

i put the boss and other steering wheel on but if anyone could give me any info on what snapping that cord does would be great. cheers :)

turn the ignition on and if your airbag light comes on then yes it will be affected if so then a trip to a breakers for a blank switch and swap them over :)

aye i got it sorted i just put a 3 ohm resistor across the wire cheers
