I'm sure he says how to do it, but I did the same in my mk5 and I used the following

Fine sandpaper

Halfords white primer

Halfords colour paint (obviously I used Volkswagen Brilliant Orange)

Halfords clear lacquer

That is good work mate, I like it. It's great fun spraying things I love it.

The interior is dying for a new updated steering wheel now though! Get a momo team 280 they're great!

I'm wanting to do this to my mk5 interior...white on black with a black and white roof liner ftw!!!

hi just wounderign how did you get the big suround thing off i treid this and failed

screw driver jammed in the pivot usually works.

good job (eventually!) altho i cant decide if i like it or not. not skitting it at all but just not my cup of tea.

this was done to my mates gti she brought

after a couple of months it looks really bad

its all in the preping tbh and looks like you put the effot in
