Details:

Hey all, well after the success of the Bristol Gordano Meet, I was going to make a second one happen in the summer, however due to many asking for one to be sooner I've made one for April. Now, this time the location is at Cherwell Valley Services in Oxford, this is the initial meeting point, we will be there for 30 mins to an hour to allow time for latecomers to join and to mingle with everyone, whilst admiring the cars. However this time, to keep things fresh, we are gonna head over to the Heritage Motor Museum in Warwickshire.(http://archive.heritage-motor-centre.co.uk/index.html).

There are a couple of reasons for the location change. The trip is an hour from Oxford, this provides those with an itchy camera trigger finger to get some great rolling shots of a motorway packed full of Dubs and also to have an activity which is better than just standing around. The Heritage Museum has some of the greatest British cars to marvel over so something for everyone, wether you're into Classic cars or more into the modern era.

Admission is normally £9 but it's £7 on a group buy of 12. I'm awaiting more details from the museum but for each group, the organizer gets in free

I'm also hoping VW Golf+ (magazine will be in attendance at Oxford as well for photos and a feature in the magazine itself). I know this meet will be as big if not bigger than the first one, I will be pushing this on all forum I know of so let the list of attendees being!

Just over a week left now guys. :)

Well you are all gonna love this

I've just got off the phone with a chap from the museum, we are going to have a parking area DEDICATED for our cars, under banners named "VW Enthusiasts". This area will be only for us.

Entry obviously is £7 for everyone, bar me it's free lol!

If it's a dry day, and no one else is on it, we are allowed to have several cars park in front of the museum on the grass for photoshoots (looking at stink and Horney here). That will be brilliant!

And also the public will more than likely want to have a nose at the cars in our area but I see that as a good thing

Can't wait!!!

I've done a reccy on the carpark as i remember it having some monster speed bump (in the red circle), i worked there many years ago and my memory served me correct. My friend Daud is bringing a beetle which pretty much drags itselfs along the floor and he'll never make it over the speed bump and i'm probably assuming a lot of cars might be in the same situation

My mates and I are going to park around in the coach and lorry park so we keep our sumps in tacked ha ha

Yes yes, the pile was epic fun, LOL! I was the one that caused it lol!

The plan for the next meet is to go go karting at Clay Pigeon near Yeovil (they have a huge track) and then convoy over to Bournemouth for a BBQ at the beach or something :)

That sounds like a good day out... Clay pigeon is a brilliant circuit... been there a few times.

yeah that was me in the coupe... 'repping the mk3 coupes lol.

yeh the splitter does kinda do my head with the scraping but its all good.

Loved the look of you are mk2.. looks so clean! and gettin a bit of stretch on 6j's is pretty cool!

The meet was ok!

shame we sat in the services for ages and then when the time came to drive upto gaydon eveybody just raced off. I thought everybody was going stick together on the motorway
