need so advice please

my mate need a new windsrceen in his mk2 polo coupe and is wondering if the windscreen is the same as the mk2 polo c

is it an east fit ?? or do they beake when being removed>

I managed to remove the windscreen from my Mk2 and I'm a retard so they must come out easy enough. Never actually fitted one though

Removed and fitted one

Just break the screen to get it out - we did! Put rubber seal on new screen. Feed a washing line into seal. Put it into place on car. Get one person to gentle push from outside as you pull line from inside slowly. Should locate seal on car into correct place.

I never had any problems with leaks once fitted.

Kick the broken one out, cut the rubber on the donor.

Use some screenwash/washing up liquid solution to lubricate the seal (yeah, I know it's not a perfect answer).

how much are the windscreens for a mk2 ??

Got mine from a scrappy for £10. Cost £5 to get it fitted.

Shitloads cheaper than autoglass!!
