Alright folks...

Some of you may remember my Polo, some may have never seen it.

Well the engine in it screwed up, so instead of me getting it fixed I decided to replace it with a bigger engine, that being a 1.4 valver. Big improvement from a 1.0 litre I would say haha

Whats happened so far...

Engine, Gearbox, Subframe and Brakes arrived...

Decided to strip the whole engine down and replace mostly everything that can be, Gearbox needs reconditioned also.

Got my Inlet Manifold Blasted... just need to get it ported then spray it matt black.

Stripped my altenator down to be ready for painting purple...

Silicone hoses arrived...

Pics dont show of the true colour right, there a deep purple.

So now that the hoses arrived I got the colour match for some paint...

While all that was happening, I purchased these badboys

15" Renault Alpines... 8" Wide all round! :-D

Offfft... Wiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiide! haha :p

Sold my RH Cups... so got a loan of Turbines from a mate

He then wanted them back so I had to find a set to put on the car

Bought these 15" Motorsport Revolutions...

Decided to give them abit of Watson love...

Fitted...

I quite like the look of them, although it does make it look slight 'Chavvvy' or 'JDM' haha.

Just need to get some centre caps and possibly lower it more

Trial test with the Mk5 Door cards...

I thought they would be a striaght swap... wam, bam, thank you mam!

But sadly nothing is that simple, theres a few things that need altered for them to fit and work, thats why there is no handle etc in the picture. But I should be able ot sort all that out with some time and effort!

Also got a Mk5 Dash to repalce the boring Mk4 one...

Wires!!!!

Got my Rocker Cover polished up then Painted the lettering...

Decided to spray/paint more things...

Still need to give the brakes and carriers another coat.

Pimped out my standard front VW badge, I like it!

Also sprayed the grill matt black as it looked like it had been through the wars...

Parts finally arrived from VW... Over £300 worth of stuff, and I still need to get more

That's all I've done so far... But I'll keep posting up updates now and again!

Sweet, some very big updates then. Love the colour scheme you're going to run, are you still keeping the bodywork silver? Be interesting how you get on with the dash conversion, going to be doing mine in march Do you need the whole steering column for the wheel to fit on?

Bodywork is staying silver... I like silver :-)

No you don't need the steering column... Only reason why I got it is because it was included in the price lol

Update...

Wasn't going to do anything this weekend to the car but then I got bored today, so decided to start stripping the dash and doorcards out.

Wish I never started it though, was freezing and getting dark quick... just got it all out before the snow got heavy too! Phew!

The end result!...

Lad this Polo is gonna be class, some really nice touches on her.

I also really like the revolutions, motorsport styling wins it for me every time.
