Steering spins with the drift, as the car starts to initiate, due to the forces on the tyre, they auto lock in the other direction. I've no real idea why, but it does. This is how people learn to drift, they catch the wheel, and alter it to change the angle. A hard tug of the steering and lift off the throttle causes it to jerk the other way!

Very true, i went to a huge streetracing event in chester last summer at 4am with a mate, about 150 cars turned up, police were there within 10 minutes, all the cars were lined up on the grass verge at the side aswell.

We then moved to another location on a dark lane though and no police came, we were there til 8am too.
