my steering wheel is making a scratching noise so need to take it off and have a look

cant get at the central bolt though, whats this in the way and how do i get it off?

Mine's done this a couple of times now, I have no idea what it is but it goes away after about a week :lol:
i've never had any issues with mine :S

It's at the back it's dust on the brass pins just clean it off with wd40 took me ages to fine it ha ha
