Schrick 268/268 Camshaft.

Featured Replies

Schrick 268/268, a brilliant upgrade for the small block engines (not g40) - these are not cheap from schrick now; so I really don't want to sell it incase i ever want to make a fast 1300 again, but i need the money. :-(

In good condition. I'll get some pictures up tomorrow.

what sort of power would this give to a gt???

With a totally standard GT i think they quote something like 10bhp, which i highly doubt (bad selling tactics :retard:) . But people say they pull harder for longer with one of these - coupled with other mods, a good increase is available.

One of these helped me crack the 100bhp mark in my GT + i was still running a 1.3.

I found using this cam ment the aggressive pull through the revs at the low revs carried on through the whole rev range.

Even at motorway speeds it made a big difference which shocked a Vectra V6 on the way to E38, i managed to hit the rev limiter in 5th on that occasion

Definately a great mod when you have other mods to the breathing and exhaust system.

It is

Won't this fit your AEE?

  • Author

It does, but needs a vernier to time up 100%. I fitted my 268/264 i had without a vernier and it pulled harder higher up, so this will be the same.

Hello mate,

Does this fit a 1.3 mk2? From what i understand it should but i wanted to make sure!

Cheers

Fair enough pal, if it falls through drop me a line and i'll take it off your hands.
