hi I'm selling a 1.6 8v aee engine its needs a new head gasket as i took it off to change the original cams to piper high lift cams but never got round to it but got the piper cams with it

also i paid 130 for the cam

how much increase of power did the cams give you?

not sure mate i bought the engine to put it my mk4 but never got round to it think it adds about 6bhp and its from 3000 -6000 rmp cheers

Surely this should read "cam" not "cams" as the AEE is SOHC? Do you know the specs for the cam if so?

ye it should be cam mate not cams and I'm not sure mate ill take 130 for the lot
