Hi all, been on here a while now but not really posted too much. I've had my polo for about 3 months now. I bought it just as a run about while i work on my scirocco, but you know how these things go.....

Its a 1272 spi in grey with only 37k on the clock since 91! So far i have put scirocco gt2 seats in, a mk2 coupe s steering wheel, PhilJ 80/60 kit, and debadged grill. Hopefully wheels will be purchaced next month although i still have no idea what to go for!

Anyway, on with the pics:

Exhaust is a bit fun on and off my drive... :p

Might put the front down a little more, or put the rears up a notch, think there at around 70 at present. Not going to alter the height until i sort some wheels out though so i can get the stance just right then.

Other than that i'm just waiting for a nice day to give it a good clean inside and out.

Will keep you'll updated as i go along.

nice saloon you've got there! Def need to sort something out about the lowering, doesn't look right with the nose up in the air like that.

Thanks all. The fronts settled a fair bit more now so its nearly leveled out, i reckon some 10mm lowering caps would do the trick. My front wheel bearings on the way out so gotta fit that in the next few days which means strut off again! dam polo setup! haha. I'll get some more piccys once i've had chance to give it a real clean. I agree black wheels could work very well on this, maybe even these banded? I'll have to see how finances go before being able to make any decisions though.....

There are a couple of bits of bodywork i need to sort out before making any changes like that. I quite enjoy the oem trim on it to be honest, looks much better when shined up though! cheers for the suggestion though, would be interesting to see one cc'd in this colour. :)

That's a gorgeous loon, mine will look that tidy one day, once it's had the respray. It looks rather sorry for itself as it's my daily every winter, and half of the summer too

Finally today i had a chance to give it a propper clean. Just used some megs scratch x, autoglym super resin polish, autoglym vinyl and rubber care, autoglym glass polish, and a tiny bit of megs metal polish on the handles.

The front has settled far more now comparing it to the earlier pics when the kit was first fitted, could still do with some 10mm lowering caps though.

Anyway, a few pics:

The bodywork could do with a bit of tlc in some areas, but overall considering its still on its original paint its not doing too badly.

I've nearly finished getting all the bits i need now so within the next few weeks it'll be on some yamaha yzf600r bike carbs. Bit of show, bit of go :p

Yea front is 80 down, I'm not going to touch the height until i decide on wheels though so i can get it to sit right on whatever i may get. Does anyone know whether i can get wellers in 4x100 pcd?

I still say either ful or half cc bumpers .. I think half will work well leaving the arch trim on ..

Absolutly beautiful mk3 though mate really really like it .

As othersd have said a set of 13" wheels that are black would look sick .

Maybee try and get the origional steels banded ?
