I dont think you get 195/40/14 tyres, the closest you get is 195/45/14.

i got them dude, conti's ;)

just wanna see if the rims will go before i lay the paper out!

Et -7 7J's stick out on the front of a 6n, mini wheels for example..

So i dunno, are the 6n2 arches wider? 40's are a low profile but i think the tread might still be out on a 195 section.

iirc, the archs arent much different? idk tho!

i dont mind the wheel sticking out atall, just the tread obv :)

i can get the ET higher if needs be, as the adapters are 35mm thick! so i may get them thinned to 15 & 25. just an idea tho.

Is the et -20 including the adapters then?

I think 195/40's on a 7j, isnt going to be stretched enough to keep the tread in.

yes.

the wheels are et +15 without adapters, et-20 with, thus 35mm thick.

i dont mind the rubbing either. hmm. think the adapters may have to be skimmed if they dont fit right!

Hmm might just be ok if the offset isnt negative

we'll soon see, down all the way all round, may be painful! :p

mate your screwed i think

this is my 6n with superlites, 13x7, et -7 with 175/50 [hardly any stretch :/]

the fronts with 9.5mm spacers making them -16.5

they poke enuff! another few mm makes alot of difference lol

Josh why did you use spacers dude?

I'd have thought -7 would clear brakes etc and I've seen them poke, they do loads on Mk3's..

its cos the design on superlites means the spokes curve back towards the calipers and touch

so 9.5mm spacers are the smallest possible [found this out through trial & error!]

Ahh right...

shame with 13x7's there arnt any stretchable tyre sizes..

Where did you get them mate....Link please.

that meant to have it, not i.

it being the wheels I'm yet to buy and now wont be.

I've seen them on the net tho I'm sure, conti are the only people iirc
