Thought i may aswell open a progress thread on the car as alot will be changing very soon.. heres from day one to present day.

The day i found it at the dealer, love at first site. Stood out like a sore thumb in my eyes.

9k fully spec'd, not a bad price considering it was 20k 2 years ago.

The day before hand over, went round the car and checked everything was in order.

The night of hand over, everything impressed me apart from the fact they didnt clean it!

2nd night of ownership, me and my mate mike met up for some pix

The car was missing HID's, so i got in contact with Nath from xenons online and within a couple of days this was the result. 6000k.

I took the car up to chestergate and took some better pix with the HID's fitted

As of today 10.02.09 the plans are ..

Exterior wise:

French pressed plates

Bonnet Bra

Alloy wheel refurb in gloss black / anthercite

Lower it some more

Paint the calipers red and the 'brembo' logo in white

Perfomance wise :

S2 remap, looking around 270 bhp on stock internals

Blue flame cat back system

Decat bypass pipe

4 Branch manifold

Forge dump valve

Ram air induction kit

My plans change alot though, so like i said them plans are as of now - dont be suprised if the car ends up alot different,

If you want your wheels refurbing, i can get them beadblasted and powdercoated any colour you want for £80 all in for all 4.

Just had my BBS done, will show you them they're like brand new mate.

If yours have come out well then ile get them done, one thing i will need to leave my car on axel stands while its being done, how long does it take, and have u got any space at yours lmao - i live on a hill, and as the glanza found out - hills + axel stands = FAIL

Had a parcel this morning, and it contained something that I've been waiting a week for, ile let the pictures do the talking.. (number plates :p)

Small update, had a little bit of ICE installed in the boot, more for quality than loudness.

1 x Alpine Type S 12'' SUB

1 x Ground Zero 2 channel amp

1 x 4 guage wiring kit with 150 amp tripper

all linked to my dvd headunit makes a nice ICE setup

how does it sound mate, the stereo that is, looks like a nice setup

It sounds lovely, and drops nicely to - its being ran off a, ripspeed dv720 atm - but I'm upgrading to an alpine headunit which will have a much better sub output.. but for now its just what i want :)

Forget the subs i had one of these meganes overtake me once it sounded like it was ripping up the tar mac. Do they all sound like that or was it probably remaped it sounded awsome.

Stop it i want one its just the typical french spongey seats and the plastic interior quality that puts me off , ""For that reason I'm out i wont be investing""

After a 2 bucket wash, foam and clay with speed detailer.

Looks far better, wheels need changing/refurbing though as they are shocking...

Results from 1st attempt :

Still no major updates as i have no idea where i want to go with the car, but one things for sure, it never fails to put a smile on my face! I am having problems finding wheels that will clear the big brembo brakes, i want th-lines on it, 18 inch but I'm not sure i can make it happen keep looking...

way heyyy I've finally got you guys an update!

It's not finnished yet, still needs the front bumper doing 'the V' in black.. and then comes the handles and renaultsport badges in black.. but this is how far I have got with the bodywork (i did say origionally dont be suprised if my plans change LOL)!

Anywho, then comes the wheels 'gloss black' , light tints on rear windows... then comes the bigger turbo, stage 2 remap, decat, zorst, filter and front mount intercooler... shes a beast already, but god knows how she will handle pushing 290-300bhp FWD haha... here goes :

not a fan tbh, i think the bonnet is a bit too far.

its up to you but i would have had just the roof done but as you say the v needs doing on the bumper so it could change the look alot. for better or worse i dont no.

any how nice motor that!

Very nice motor the only thing that puts me off is the terrible back end apart from that looks the billy bizzz!
