Dear all,

Welcome to the new 2009 section.

We are all very pleased and excited to have been able to announce that the polo show is back at Billing aquadrome, for anyone that hasn't been there before you may want to have a look at the 2007 show section under the official club events forum. More details on the site can be found here:

It is a superb location right by the canal and a brilliant campsite, there is even a 2 for 1 pub extremely close by! not to mention various food outlets on site serving a variety of food, including full english breakfasts, indian and chinese take aways, fish and chips, jacket potatos etc. for those of you that don't want to spend money on food the club will be providing a communial BBQ for everyone to use if you don't want to bring your own.

There are some shops on site, and a fairground so late night drunken dogems are now a club must do!

We are going to be putting in signs to direct people in, will have a club marquee, more banners and hopefully a really good well organised show.

I would like to add that we want it to be everyone's show so any input or ideas on how to improve are greatfully received, also anyone that wants to volunteer to help in anyway please let me know.

The pub food is ace, especially after a heavy weekend!!

signs should be easy to spot and i'll be about near the main gate on friday to direct people.

Can we bring our own generator Liz or do we have to pay for an electical hook-up...?

yup you can bring your own if you like, think there is a noise kerfew but we are pretty tucked away so cant see it annoying anyone.

Only problem there is, its really loud.

nice to see you guys got back into billing, might make the trip up again cos was a quality show '06 & '07. pub is very good, shops pretty well stocked if a tad expensive but convenient.... just dont try and buy any ice creams off the ice cream van, you chase the bloody thing round site for 30mins then she tells you she doesnt actually sell them off the van and that you'll have to go to the shop to get them lmao!!

hopefully i will come along to this.... the vw mk2 golf owners club is off there this weekend i believe and i was going to go but dont have any dosh but they sound like they are doing karting too so I'm sure its nearby if not on site?sorry if I'm wrong! lol
