well after deciding I'm going to keep my jetta i need to sell my golf to buy a caddy sport of my dad.

I've just repaired the golf with a new engine all re-built and running perfect other wise it would ahve been worthless broken

basic run down

1.4 abd(mk3 golf engine) unsure of mileage but pulls very well and uses no oil e.c.t and had no oil on the block when removed)i would guess arround 70k i i had to put a figure on it and the golf sheel was quite tidy aswell.

weber dmtr carb

gk inlet(german mk3 polo gt inlet has alot bigger bores)

small lighter flywheel of the original 1.3 golf engine

air filter e.c.t

mot until august 09

tax until feb 09(can get more if required for a little extra)

5 door

tornado red

5 speed smooth box

130k on the body but its rearlly tidy and shiney(pics show this)

hottuning coilovers covered about 4k miles

very recent discs and pads

recently replaced clutch and inspected it when re-building the engine

full gti interior

small but friendly mountney wheel fitted about 100 miles ago

the car over all is a rearlly mint car and great condition for its age/mileage and I've doune alot to her over the past 6 months I've owned it.

and nothing should go wrong in the future for some time.

all the engine is painted and cleaned ready for shows

cd player not included,passenger rear door had been resprayed and is a little rust but looks ok see pic above^^^^^ sunroof had been sealed up with silicone.i had to splice the mk3 downpipe into the mk3 but is ok and no blows

I have a mk2 jetta 1.8 auto if you fancy it in p[/x. It was for sale on here for £495, but i decided to keep it, would you be willing to take it in p/x and cash your way ? Its a really nice, clean straight example with vw history all the way and its only on 85,000. Really interested in the car !

registered as a 1.3 still.no one can tell though as its all cosmeticly the same as the 1.3 (basically)

i say fu*k the police..would only ge somthing stupid like a £3 fine and banned from driving for 6 hours knowing this country.haha

What sort of MPG does it do?

Alright mate really interested in the golf mate but dont have the cash spare at the min. How ever would you be interested in a p/x with my mk2 polo coupe s with an abd conversion in it. Its helious blue. Shell has done 59k engine and box around 70k. All runs sweet mot and tax. Really clean car. Goes well sounds great.Its lowered 60mm on h&r cup kit with front lower and rear upper strut braces. Standard polo coupe s wheels with all good tyres. Powerflow induction, custom exhaust with 4 branch all heat wrapped, powder coated rocker cover in white. Splitfire ht leads. Headunit and speakers. Mattig grill worth 100 quid. WOW this car is awesome!...don't fancy a swap for a 1991 mk3 polo saloon, calypso green, 23,000 genuine miles just had full service, rot and rust free, have every mot since new and I've even got the original proof of reciept!
