Dashboard Speaker Removal

Featured Replies

Hi Everyone

the dashbaord speakers in my wifes 1996 Polo need replacing but after taking the grille off i cant work out how to remove the speakers. is there a knack to removing them?

All i can see is what looks like a metal band under the grile cover which probably holds the pressure against the dash and speakers tight.

Any hints would be appreciated for reoval of the speakers....hope this makes sense.

I was hopeing to find fixing screws but noe are to be seen

thanks
