Another Gt!

Featured Replies

Yep, its true, i have added another Polo to the collection.

DSC00049.jpg

Starts first time and all that jazz and has 11mths MOT so it will be a nice run about and progression from the breadie which will be leaving soon.

Mechanically it has receipts which add up to thousands in the last 10yrs which is very nice.

I will clean it up and get pics later in the week.

Things to do: Clean interior, fit stereo, buy front/rear GT badges, clean paintwork, posibily use my 40mm springs.

You like? Pimp aint it

The 16v will do :-) How is your new one treating you?

i think i have a rear badge mate....

If you do mate that would be great, dont mind much about condition aslong as it aint broken

not bad touch wood, mechanicly sound, bodywork it gash though , but what do you expect for £350! just going to deck it on some nice wheels. it will require welding for mot so il probly break it when it runs out (got till aug). sooo much better for motorway cruising then the GT

I paid less then £350 for the GT :ninja:

meh aircooled is cool, but toooo slow, might look for a good condition 90s spec 8v as mines an early, and is poverty spec i hear VRs go into digifants much easier due to wiring :ninja:

looks abit bland kerrly

needs spicing up :)

then sell it for 3 times it actual value!

I really though upon opening this, that it was going to be your old red one :smirk:

Nope when that came up for sale a few weeks ago i was to late to buy it back, it was sold for £700 when i sold it for £1500 4mths earlier :smoke:

No 'silly' modding for this one, just going to clean it up and see how long i want to keep it as i still have the Golf 16v, Polo 1.0 and maybe a Mk1 Golf cabby ariving in 3 weeks time

Safe, sounds good ginge

Cherry bomber maybe? Only the best 90s mods for this car

Looks clean yes, but it needs plenty of tarting up! but the mechanics are great. It will get more time spent on it when the breadie is gone.
