White, foamy Ice Build Up In My Injecter

Featured Replies

after a long drive about in my car (1.3 8v 6n) it starts running really rough and idles all over the place and nearly stalls. and iv found that this is due to a build up of what looks like white foam or ice in the throttle body. blocking the mixture, this then seem to melt after the cars stoped running. :-(

i know 6n's have idling problems caused by drirty injectors but this tends to be when they are warming up as iv had this before. and a quick spay with carb cleaner dose the trick.

iv tryed cleaning it out with carb clean. and ran redex in the fuel. and a full oil change nothing seems to have worked.

any one no what is causing this evil white stuff to clog up my injector :?

Never heard of this before on a polo :?

But have had it happen to minis.. where the carb ices up due to not running a shim in between the manifold and Carb!
