found this video yesterday on my computer which i added to my facebook etc..

its of me in my stripped 6n with the GTI motor, taking everything in my path on the track.. except for this clio 180(i think its called)..:)

i was a bit faster than him on the straight, but then saw that the checkered flag was dropped, so I let him go..

(ps i know this clio produces at least 180 big humping ponies, as i have a dutch registration info system, which tells me the details about the car)

we were pretty evenly matched, but traffic kept on getting in the way. hats off to him though, as it seems he was the only other driver, aside from myself, that knew what he was doing..

the rest of the video is of my session there.. and I'm proud to brag that i was not passed by 1 car, and i took everyone except this guy:)

The chase starts at 3 min into the race, and its kinda fun to see us going through everyone else on the track, doing a bit of cat-and mouse

its a clio 172 that is

the newer 182 has a different rear bumper and exhaust system, is also lighter from memory

it goes very well lol

gos well that if you dont mind me asking what engine mods did you do on this little beast and what is the bhp cheers :-D

yea, i couldnt remember if it was 170 or 180 on that clio:)

was glad i was able to be faster than him, becauuuuuuuuuuuse:

my car has a theoretical 135 hp..

it has a GTI motor from a 6n2, but the reason why its so quick, is because I've put my 6n on a strict diet. it now weighs about 890 KG or so..

0-62 is (best)6.8 seconds, so.. lets say 7 seconds..

and top speed is 210 km/h (would be more, but my fuel pump is from my old 8valve engine, which cuts out abt 200 rpm short of the redline)

only mod other than the engine swap and the stripped interior would be

a straight through exhaust system (no cat, no middle box, only a backbox from a 1.9 TDI, tucked neatly away under the bumper)

ok, suspension as well as drilled/vented disks in the front, and EBC greenstuff for stopping power.

ill be going to the track again in march, so.. more to come!
