Featured Replies

its been said but think some of you guys do have issues.

Someone flashing you doesnt really mean you have to kick the crap out of them.

What do you do if someone crosses your path in tescos?

What do you do if someone crosses your path in tescos?

If they do that and they get in the way or causes me to have to walk round them i expect them to apologise!

If not i just say 'your fucking welcome' and walk off

So many people are arrogant, stuck up and self-absorbed, and i swear because I'm only 19 people think they can just cut me up or not let me out or whatever!

I swear I'm one of about 3 people in the whole of berkshire who let people out of junctions rather than just block them! people have no courtesy any more and its so frustrating!

clipping folks ankles with the trolley is the solution, looks totally accidental, but hurts like a futher mucker if you get em right :p

wow.

Admittedly I dont come here that often but I generally thought this was a decent balanced forum filled with folks just into their cars.

It seems its full of arseholes judging by this thread.

I'd be embarassed to admit I had done some of the things I've read about on here just now.

I popped in here today to show a mate a forum I thought might be good for her and the 6N shes just bought. I think I was wrong, and she does too.

Enjoy your time driving lads... some of it is going to be very short for one reason or another if whats posted on here is anything to go by. I just hope that when you cause a serious accident with your dickish driving you dont involve me or any of my family.

Oh and the mention of "chavs" and "boi racers" as is any of whats posted on here is better than any of what they get up to?

Funniest post of the thread? the tough guy laughing about how he had the middle aged woman in tears after she had the decency to apologise for her minor error... you must be so proud of that.

Some of you definately have issues, and at least half of you shouldnt be allowed on a Moped never mind behind the wheel of a ton of steel.

"Hear hear"

Tee3 thank you very much for your input :smoke: Quite finished? This forum is full of very helpful and friendly people and the thread was put up as the 'FUNNIEST' things youve had, and obvisously by some peoples judging of the cover we are all arseholes, well maybe posting more than 6 posts youd get to know us a little better.

But for know theres the door. Please use it and dont slam it

oh and for the record he stated 'nearly' in tears! :p

Without fuelling the fire here... i think you are being a bit heavy on Tee3.. not that he will be here anymore to care. Yes he is being a bit straight talking... but i see where he is comng from.

This thread has been an eye opener for me. I'm not going to go running off sulking, i like the crack on here, and helping people as well as being helped myself, but there are a few fellow polo drivers here i wouldnt want to run into on a windy country road, or the A1(M) for that matter.

e.g. Last night i was driving home and a mk6 polo came up behind me. Now because i have a polo, lowered and with wide wheels, and he has a polo, i wanna race. Obviously.

No actually, i have the missus in the car. And her little sister (altho my response would be just the same if i was alone)

I was going at the speed limit- 40mph on a 40mph road, 60mph when it became a 60mph road, quite a winding country road, with some bends that required me to slow down to negotiate them safely.

At no point was he more than a metre from my rear bumper. He wasnt going to overtake me, and when he could, he sat in the middle of both lanes behind me with lights in my mirror.

Tell me, was he acting like an arsehole?

I suspect.. going off the behavior implied by some of the posts here that some, not all, but some people on here would have behaved the same as him.

8vpolojack: so i stop right in the middle put hand brake on get out walk up to the window of her car an tap quite nicely the window goes down a tiny bit and a voice says I'm really sorry that i nearly hit you i think I'm in the wrong lane calmly........THE WRONG LANE YOU STUPID BITCH YOU NEARLY HIT ME BECAUSE YOUR SO INCOMPOTE WHATS SO HARD TO UNDERSTAND LEFT LANE LEFT RIGHT LANE RIGHT .......by this time the traffice is backing up a good half mile and shes close to tears

Please... tell me at what point was 8vpolojack not acting like an arsehole?

kerrly: I repeatedly anoy peeps on the motorway, they pull out to got past i floor it, and repeat.

So a guy is on motorway, overtaking traffic, not even realising the guy in the little vw on the left of him has a major problem with that. Same question as above....

Edited by ben_reza

the only one i have is i was on a stretch of a road which was 40 zone, fair enough i was doin 50 went to go past a guy and he swerved into the right lane to stop me so braking harshly swerving everywhere i came to a stop, now he got out after stopping down the road and i sat there he was rasnting at me through my window and he started to yank my door (lock was down) he reached through unlocked it swung it open litterlly dragged me out of the car, he was holding me by the throat screamin at me, i dont want to seem a dick but i didnt deserve all this really, so i headbutted him and dropped him to the floor, got in and sped off, not proud of it i know i was breaking the law but thats how it went.

hahahaha at the guy biting someone

Its all about looknig after you self these days...... but yea the biting of arm made me laugh to lol

At 8vpolojack answer is some of use handle things differently, it makes no differnce to wether he is part of a forum or not. other forum e.g. clio mighth have done the same doesnt mean the whole forum is a bunch of wankers. and kerrlys one is down to the driver so once again really cant determine what a forum is like if a few people post up past experiance. so yeah making more of an effort to get to know people instead of rompa stomping into the forum is bit silly really when he/she knows hardly if at all anyone on this forum. so yeah door = please use

well he has left!

howd them 16v rears look on your missus motor? And is your gran better? (on a more friendly note...)

Wow, this thread has uncovered some of CPs 'knobhead drivers'!

Some stories are funny, but 'cutting up' games and trying to deliberatley annoy folk on the motorway?

WTF!!!

An i like the way the first guy says he 'tucked up behind a big truck' in his little polo... its the last thing id want to do in a little polo!

yeah mate look wicked, sorted out a few more bits for her. and yeah my nan is getting there mate thanks :D but yeah i wansnt expecting you to contest me :ninja::lol: but yeah id like to say we are a nice bunch!

Anyone who gets mad whilst driving should have their liscence revoked lol. Lifes too short to worry about it and it seems everyone on the road these days is just waiting to jump on someone for some minor manouvre. We all get a little frustrated at times but when it turns to anger its really time to pull over and relax.

not everyone is a knob head driver for those who are goi9n on about it , ub can honestly never say u have neva cut anyone up or overtook past the speed limits everyone has mistakes at least no one was drunk at the wheel knocked over little kids, so really there is no need to rant

Yeah sure, of course I've cut people up once or twice, but never on purpose or to deliberatly annoy another driver, like some have claimed on here! Unless I'm dicking about with a mate on a quite road etc.

Its especially stupid on the motorway. If i get angry at what someones done i might flash my lights at them or beep the horn, but i wouldnt chase them or some shit, driving on a road whilst fired up is just asking for an accident!

And i will rant, its a forum, its what people do on forums

Edited by Tom66

well what happens when u and you are mate are 'dicking' about on the quiet roads there could be someone on a bike round corner and either of u run the risk of killing him or her , doing stuff on purpose is stupid mate but people will only learn if something bad happens

:-D :-D :-D

Lol ^.

I've cut people up before as well, sometimes you just dont have as much room as you think you have, and most of my motors have shitty mirrors or no mirrors at all. But it rarely happens and I always feel like a dick after doing it.

To be honest, the random did say 'some of' and not 'all of' and yet there are replies following in a nature as if he/she had said the latter.

The narrow-mindedness is oozing out the walls on all levels in here man,its been a pretty poor show.

One id like to draw attention to was posted just after Kerrly's motorway post. Same action, but with lorry drivers.

Question, for that person - have you ever been a lorry driver?

Battling against the clock to earn some sleep, trying to get a run-up for a hill so you can get up it without holding up car drivers too much..?

They have long braking distances, and for your safety they have to sacrifice their own needs if you enter their space. Do so,and you're just making life hard for someone and giving them a bad day at work.

Nice,real nice,brother.

some of these stories are ace, i always think its funnier when people do something wrong then get mad at you for no apparant reason, they seem to think they're mike tyson whilst they're in they're cars but as soon as you get out they suddenly drive off.

funniest thing to happen to me was on the way out of a golf club of all places i pulled out of a blind corner and some guy had to stop pretty quick (my fault) so i stuck me hand up to appologise n he just stared my out so i returned the favour. on the way down the drive he spund his car round and chased me over speed bumps, quite a slow pursuit!lol once he caught me up he overtook me and parked his car across the lane so i cudnt get past and started shouting at me thru the window. i just got out the car and said if you wanna make a big deal of it m8 I'm riht here take your best shot (with added swearing and hand gestures!lol) and that seemed to send him on his way!

The big problem is that if you dont do something about someones mistake or poor driving they are just going to do it again and again until someone does get hurt.

There are some pretty bad things people have admitted to on here. i for one have never raced anybody, never cut anyone up on purpose, and never intend to cause other road users grief, but if someone disobeys the rules of the road, or causes you to brake hard or swerve by doing something dangerous or potentially lethal, I personally wont just let it go, because they will keep doing it or thinking its ok. A lot of road safety relies on the countries citizens being polite, aware and standing up for the safety they deserve on the road, because the police cant be everywhere at once.

If someone steals a womans purse on the street i wouldnt let it go, if someone takes away someone elses right to safe driving on the roads i wont let that go either

If you have a word, however loud, at someone because their driving is dangerous, next time it might make them think twice, but violence should only be used in self defence, an eye for an eye only makes the whole world blind.

Dickish driving, no

Telling someone their driving is dangerous or stupid, yes

never know peeps, could save someones life if you make them think twice next time, thats just my 2 pence worth.

I've been close to road rage quite a few times but I remember when these 4 asians in a vectra were being nobs cutting people up and making people move out of the way by tailgating - they then decided to do it to my dad in his old volvo estate thinking he was some old giffer - so he let them tailgate him for a bit, let them past and chased em up the M62 for about 10 miles - they turned off swiftly at the first exit !!

My dad did admit though if they had pulled into a layby he wouldnt have a clue what he'd of done haha

P.s I laughed hard at that guys post about biting some guys arm hahahaha

^good point tbh^

But some people do that because they are just plain rude and arrogant, not because they have your point in mind.

tis true unfortunately. well what can you do eh? if someone wants to have a huge rant at someone because of a small mistake they made then its a bit unfair, were only human after all

just have a word and tell them that what they did wrong could have cause an accident, but equally if someone wants to drive dangerously, up your arse, cut in dangrously and take away your right for safe driving conditions, then in my opinion go for it, rant away, they deserve it

er if the truck had hit the brakes (which aint that good) all i would have done is bumped it from a foot away , not as bad as a head on at 50 that hurt

not everyone is a knob head driver for those who are goi9n on about it , ub can honestly never say u have neva cut anyone up or overtook past the speed limits everyone has mistakes at least no one was drunk at the wheel knocked over little kids, so really there is no need to rant

so what if you flash your lights and beep and then they want to ram you off the road or chase you , what you going to do ?

talking of bumping cars , one of my mates is mental , he picked me up one day and we was heading back down the a12 , now he dont hang about , its always a race from place to place , and this time he had a corrado G60 lhd , we was blastin along and caught up with a bit of traffic , on passing the traffic a taxi was hogging the fast lane , my mate flashed a couple of times the taxi did nowt , we pulled in to let the taxi know to get out the way , at which he pulled in , we blasted past , taxi drive had far on board and gave us the sly finger , now my mate dont stand for shit like that and decided to piss him off by doing the same speed as him till we caught up with traffic . cool that worked fine . the taxi decided it wernt , some how he flew up the inside and cut about 3 motors up , at which my mate follows and some how cuts up the same 3 motors , we are now back on the tail of the taxi , so he starts tapping the brakes, now remember hes got a paying customer onboard , my mate looks at me and say`s "if he dose it again i`ll hit him" so he brakes again and donk we hit him , he pulled over and so did my mate and bumped him a few more time for good luck . then we got beside him and he was on the radio to his taxi buddy`s calling in reinforcements , we got off the a12 went back to his laughing about what the taxi man was going to do with a car not registered to my mate and the fact it was being shipped abroad in the next 2 days  that was a propper mental bit of road rage but well funny when we bumped the taxi , think it was more sheer disbeilf but i was still wetting myself
