Comments: Bought this car for £415, owner gave me 30 quid back for petrol and because 'he didnt expect it to go for that much.' Dad drove her home, very impressed with the ride, was expecting a proper rough and noisy journey but was really quite impressive.

2nd March Update:

Nice sunny day here in Wiltshire so i thought i'd give my baby a clean :]

30 minutes after washing her, i saw a white van outside my house, ran to the door and yep, my rims arrived.

So now, just have to strip the paint, and polish them up :]

11th March Update:

Began stripping them back, took a lot of time and a lot of paint stripping burnzz ><

Haven't started wet 'n' drying them yet though :)

Hai Guise :]

Basically, after sanding down my wheels, i found that the finish was no where near where i wanted it to be, i wanted it proper polished, but it doesnt even shine tbh :(

So instead, i shall be spraying them black with red tears :].

a while back i bought some frosted side repeaters, however, trying to fit them, the fittings just snapped, so i went to the scrappy, found a mk2 golf, got the side repeaters off, and basically just change the lenses (i didnt do it to my original ones incase i broke them :p)

and also fitted my new haxard switch :), mine was all broken before :]

and yes, ofcourse the bumpers are back on :), my car looks more..clothed? now :).

my dad helped grind the numberplate screws off as they were properly rusted ><.

this is the proper colour of my car

the pressed plates are now on, along with the 'Dubway' sticker .

1st April:

scrapped the idea of painting them black cause thats the easy way out

bought some pads for my electric sander and began scratching this shit uppp.

this was so so so much quicker, i concentrated on one and began wet n drying it

and after a bit more

now this is polished its an amazing contrast from what they looked like.

Got my Club Polo and Iron Cross stickers on and also received my rear 'Polo' badge from Jackdub .

Gave my bumpers and splitter a polish + back to black, then fitted my splitter. I'm pretty in love with it tbh. :]

Hello Everyone :).

Invited Eckersley Over Today To Get On And Do Something With My Wheels (Steelies+Teardrops).

So First Of All We Just Started By Taking Off One Of My Steelies And Rubbing Her Down, Ready To Primer :]

We Took Advantage Of The Wheel Being Off And Tried My Teardrops On

Waiting For The Steely To Dry After Wet'n'Drying Her, We Got On With The Teardrops :].

Then The Primering + Spraying Started .

By The End Of The Day We Got Two Finished, And I Shall Do The Others Tomorrow.

I Tried Shining Up My Already Shined Teardrop More, And We Started Another Too. The One Closest To The Camera Is The One I Done Ages Ago That I Tried To Make Better Today, But The Other Was Much Better.

We Then Put The Black Steelies On, And I Am In Love :]

Becaues We Jacked It Up, The Car Sat Really High, So My Dad Took It Out For A Drive Cause Even When We Took The Jack Off It Seemed Really High And He Said It Should Go Down With Some Driving.

I Think My Car Looks SO Sick :].

Looks Better Moving Opposed To Being Sat On My Drive :]

Was A Good Day, Some Radio 1, Lots Of Munch + Drink =].

Hello Fellow CPers.

I Woke Up To Find My Parents Have Been To Halfords And Bought Me A Pipercross Cold Air Feed, £15 Down From £25 , I Thought 'yeah That's Cool But It's Easier Said Than Done'

Had Eckersley And Another Dub-Driver Round To Do Some Mk2 Breadvan Modifying.

We Started Off By Doing My Rimtape, I Ordered Some 9mm White Tape For My Black Steelies, Eckersley Applied Them As He's Quite Good With That Kind Of Stuff :].

Whilst He Was Doing That, I Sprayed Up My Air Filter Circle Thingy, In Which I Forgot To Take A Photo Before, But It Had Lots Of Surface Rust And Was Almost Grey ><. However, Some Rattle Cans SOON Sorted That Out :)

Before We Started The Real Modifying, I Told One Of The Guys That My Passenger Side Window Wasn't Winding. So We Took The Card Off To Find This....

Yes, That Is Bamboo LOLOL.

Then, We Started The REAL Modifying, We Were Looking Where We Could Place The Cold Air Intake, We Were Thinking About Where The VW Badge Was, But It Was Too Much Hassle, We Wanted It Taking Up One Of My Inner Lights, But The End Of The Intake Didn't Have A Big Enough Diameter, So We Realised Some Bodging Was Needed :) (I Know Cold Air Feeds Should Be Near The Bottom Of The Car, But It Is For Show, Considering Its A 1043cc :)).

So Basically We Smashed The Light, Then Made A Circular Hole In It, Made The Feed Fit, Sand It Down To Be Sprayed And Re-fitted Her. (Not As Simple As That).

But We Did Do It. And I Am So Impressed.

Hello Club Polo-ers.

Started Driving Yesterday In My Mums Bad Boy Seicento ^^.

Today I Had Ol' Eckersley Round For Some More Scene/Bread Modifying.

Started Off By Removing The Rear Lights To Get Ready To Tint, Which Took Way Longer Than It Should, The Top Bolts Were SO Awkward To Get To, Proper Surrounded By Metal.

But We Did Manage To Finally Get Them Off

And Here's My Car Without The Lights

Whilst We Were Doing This We Started On My Third Steely, Just Spraying Her Up And Rim Taping Her :)

Then, The Real Mods Came In.

I Ordered A Red Mk2 Filler Cap From Someone On Here The Other Day In Tornado Red.

Sanded Her Down, And Sprayed Her Up

Then Once It Was All Dry We Started Removing The Tap, As Our Jaws Both Dropped....

We Thought AMAGAD, WE FAILED

But We Just Done It Again, And Like, The Opposite Of What We Done It The First Time, We Thought We Fucked Up ><.

Then We Fitted It All.

Yesterday was a good day.

Japfest 09 was very enjoyable ^^.

got home to find 3 envelopes/packages.

1. Stickers - I <3 SpeedBumps + Rust is lighter than carbon fibre ^^.

2. Wheel whores - I <3 Stretch tee shirt + 2 pink heart stickers

3. Fuel Filler Cap Door (YES ANOTHER).

And that night my parents picked their new car, which they bought off eBay, without even looking at it

I Started off with the filler cap.

Paint-stripper on.

However, i put the paintstripper into a plastic cup..../sigh.

After wire brushing most of the stripper off i got the ol' 40 Wet+Dry Out (GIRLFRIEND PHOTOGRAPHY <3)

Went out this morning and had a look at ma filler cap :]

Watching britains got talent with my girlfriend as i saw this GREEN lupo pull up

shoes on + straight out.

it was dark, but i fell in love with her straight away

47k miles, G5 Clifford alarm, which i am in LOVE with the proximity alarm thing :D. sooooo sick.

Lowered on FK Coils, JVC Fully touchscreen head unit, professionally blacked out windows etc.

all for 1.5k <3.

I AM IN LOVE WITH IT.

(The Lupo GTi Is Staying, The Fiat Seicteno 1.1 Sporting with abarth kit is going ><)

Hey Peoples, i came home today to see the back of my a weeee bit lower ;].

the back is dropped 70mm, and the front will also be on friday.

but i think cause its been jacked up and not driven yet, it loooks a bit high, which I'm hoping it'll settle once being driven :)

Was a lovely day today and felt like giving my car its first wax with my dad :)

i've never waxed a car before and it reallly took it out of me, but definitely worth it

And then i finally got to actually drive her. Just up the road so my dad could wash the lupo without spraying my car :)

Seen a bit of light, removed all my sticers except my D and iron cross on the bonnet and put the standard grey filler cap on.

sprayed last steelie and fitted my long aerial, by myself :D.

Wow that looks in really good condition! How many miles has it done? :) Always liked this colour. I remember helping someone out at a petrol station in the peak district with a car very similar to this. It looks alot like a primer colour, but it's not.

Looks Like the paint could use a T-cut around the rear badges. Are you going to put them back or get it smoothed?

66k :), however, it hasn't got full service history, but not too bad :).

and i heard T-cut is bad for body work, from someone ><.

and when i orignally got it, it had no badges at all, i bought the front one and the 2 rear ones, but i just need the polo one now :).

Good stuff. I've never had an issue with T-cut. Rest of the car looks great just though it might help remove the colour difference where the badges used to be. If you're re-fitting them there's no point anyway. :)

wooop teardrops getting collected by courier tomorrow. schaweeeeeeet. =D

Gonna be nice with the wheels,though it'd be better with the bumpers imo,i think it looks awkwardly ugly without.

T-cut,use the metallic version. Darker red bottle. Unlike the normal version its got no ammonia and its smoother and easier to use. Brings up solid colours and gloss better in my experience.

when i got my breadvan it was ment to of been red but cos it been stood for 3 years it had faided really bed but spent the day t cutting it witht he matelic one and its come out really nice

i could do with t cutting it again cos i have missed a couple of bits but it was my first time and i did it all on my own
