Does Anyone Else Get Angry At People "euro" Styling Other Cars?

Featured Replies

Euro is not a VW only thing, as said, the cars posted above are built in europe, so go well with good euro styling. but as with anything there will be some who get it wrong.

if you can "euro" a golf in usa whats the problem with "euroing" any car . the CAR scene has gone through many stages , the 90`s racer reps , the power stage , the fast n furious look . shouldn`t the vw scene be proud that it has created the next stage of the CAR scene , and we should be glad that we are going to stop some of these shocking chav ride from being built :-) a mates got a "euro" 306 looks really cool

the cars LOOK really nice , and i apreciate that . we all know their not a vw underneath

euro seems to be the new look of todays modding industry

more and more people are copying it...from the tacky pressed plates to slamming there cars...blad

Is it just me or does the pic of the white corsa van with checkered wheels look like a photoshop job? it doesnt look quite right on that driveway to me, looks like the light on the car is too bright and the shadow too dark?

That looks P.I.M.P i'd love that if it had some beast under the hood, anyone know?

as far as i know its got a red top in it

the body work got done in a body shop just near me the original owner spent about 13 grand on the body work couldnt afford to finish it off properly so sold it poorly finished real cheap

i see it morealess every week

To be honest I would much prefer those 106's to a polo, specially with a gti lump.

So it's pretty rapid then  doesn't look poorly finishd to me :? wouldn't spend that much though on a corsa.

Like i said elsewhere, i dont have blinkers, I've owned Fiat's Toyota's etc and dont agree with all VW's, i hate Bora's and Mk4 Golf's etc.

All I'm saying is i dont no what about THAT car is 'euro', its got a chav-style jap bumper, m3 skirts etc, mismatched coloured mirrors, and terrible spoiler. Looks awful, the banded steels are just the final chunk of diahhorea on the cake :p

I never said euro style should be confined to VW's only either, i should have better thought the thread title. There are plenty of nice euro style civics, corsas, 106's, 206's, 306's, Reno 5's etc etc etc and i love them all equally.

What makes me gag is when someone just tried TOO hard to fit in, was he trying to look euro? Jap? Rat? Doesn't do it for me...What i can say though is there seems to be a good bit of work put into it, fair play, if he likes it then cool! I personally hate it.

you hate bora's!! :-(

nothing wrong with a nice bora, except that one with miles wide wheels, gone too far tbh

i had a nice argument about a bora, some daft sod was adamant it was a passat

A bora would be my 'sensible car' mk1/mk2 golf would be my 'play car'

I'll probably get one when I'm older

some people adopt the current trend in modding and say that their car is whatever the latest trend is tho.... thats what annoys me

its like that corsa, someone, am not saying him, will of put a jap front bumper on, called it jap, then moved onto the next thing, like the sideskirts n mirrors, then its adopted another trend, n now its got a rusty bonnet its turned to 'euro'

for me, a euro car is something that is totally, 100% euro style body work, not a mis-match of styles

i do like some other euro'd cars, especially some of the french ones, 106's, saxo's, but they have to look right :)

What i hate is noobs that describe big bodykitted cars as 'chav cars' :retard:

I know some chavs and they cant even afford a model car, let alone a real one, their money goes on beer

I also know people with highly paid jobs and would be considerd 'professional persons', who abide laws etc and dont run around causing shit (like chavs) who have or have had big bodykitted cars

CHAV is an abbreviation for something that describes a person/or people, NOT a style of modded car :retard:

*riiiiiiinnnngggg* lesson is over, class dont leave a mess

That was a quick lesson, need to come to more of your classes sir.

You can stay behind after class if you want for extra 'tutoring'

Most body kits are done by chavs, making it a chav car because he's a chav and his car looks wrong. What's wrong with calling a fail of a car done by a chav, a chav car when it is?

Most cars I've seen with body kits on are done by a chav, fucking awful and not even done properly, like how they do it and the paint jobs  but body kits done in the right way look tidy

I didn't like non VAG cars that were 'euro'd' at first, but they have grown on me... espesh that Saxo..

ben1.jpg

its grown on me loads!

I bought my Saxo because it was cheap and it was only gonna be my first car, so I could move on to a Golf or Polo when i got the funds... but after seeing that I wanna 'euro' it! I'm still a Vag person at heart though

Edit: The guy that owns that Saxo has a mk2 golf as his avatar on a Saxo club forum... =]

And check out all the cars around it ;)

how are either of those remotely 'euro'? ones a slammed s14 with like 17'' wheels and debadge. the other by the looks of it is another lowered s14 with wide wheels and a bit of stretch, nothing paticularly euro about it. more jap VIP if you ask me.

if you ask me people on here are getting confused between 'euro' and 'rat'. if you ask me euro is a look created by smoothing, debadgeing, lowering, and usualy fitting wideish small wheels to small euro hatches. that 106 and saxo are good examples of euro. imo 'euro' no matter what car looks good if done well.

'rat' on the other hand (which that rusty bonnet corsa is) is some wiered and retarded attempt at being different (which ironicly isnt individual atall anymore) by making your car look like a piece of crap. this looks good on almost no car, especially VWs.

You can't deny that it suits an old Beetle or Camper though... it looks silly on anything else.

them s14s are nice, but this is more VIP

Because its not, its a chavS car (CHAV is Council Housed And Violent if you didnt know)

Its like saying subtly modified VWs are stuck up c*nt cars ;) see what i mean? i know were not all stuck up c*nts, you especially  but most people in the VW world are.

You cant badge a certain style of car to match the majority of people who go for that look, is all I'm saying
