You might do dude but i have a thing called no money unless you want to give me it as you feel so bad for snapping up that bargain of an engine and dash??

so basically youve got a 6n2 gti with a 6n front and rear bumpers

Any updates?

I'm tempted to stick one in my mk3 GT over the summer, how much of an arse is the wiring?

nice to see you are going on and doing it:-D

i wish i did the interior swap though:(

you will be very happy!!! huge step up from the 8v

Very nice fella.

How hard is it to get the dash to sit nice etc?

  • Author

cheers people, to get the dash in you have to cut off the side mounts ass there spot welded on then mark up the new mount positions and put riv-nuts there as the 6n2 mounts are bolted, the other mounts are the same, not to hard realy and sits good!

Take it you dont have to trim the dash or anything?

bit of an update, very near to starting it up, just need my 4 branch to turn up and a pre-cat lambda probe if anyones got one, but found a not very nice sight while changing some wiring, it apears the whole engine loom has been cut and someone has soldered every wire back together and heatshrinked it, alot of effort but I'm going to re-do it abit better
