Hi Guys,

Had a few enquiries about people wondering if a 6n2 wheel can be put onto a 6n, as I found no definitive answer. So I decided to see wether I could put on on, and I can confirm that it is a direct swap.

Disconnect battery for 30 minutes.

Simply undo the 2 rear allan bolts, the airbag will pop out. Disconnect the horn and airbag and place the airbag to one side very carefully (they are rigged with charges so any sudden knocks will mean a blowout). Undo the large nut in the middle and unscrew the 3 screws surrounding the center spline. The steering wheel will now pull off, take the outer part of the 6N2 steering wheel and thread through the airbag cable and horn. Rescrew the 3 bolts and the center bolt on, carefully pick up your 6N2 airbag and connect the airbag and the horn up. Clip on the 6N2 airbag (you should hear a click when its snapped on correctly), and you're all done. Reconnect your battery and check everything is all working. Done.

Except I wasn't careful at all when I removed my airbag, that a mistake?

Depends how badly you need it, by all means go to private land and lob it into the air and see how easy it blows!

Its an easy swap, i'm surprised more people haven't done it :)

lol when I was taking stevens airbag out I accidentally (genuinely!) threw it down onto the bare metal floor pretty fucking hard, thankfully it was ok haha
