Can i put 185/55s on my 14x6 steels, (mk2golf steels,)

bearing in mind my mk3 saloon is lowered 70/80mm on philj stuff?

am i gonna be rubbin and a scrubbin or will i be ok?

scrubbage without a doubt. had 185/55r14s on my g40 once when it was std ride height and it scrubbed

hmmm, mike rigby has them on his mk3 coupe and thats down 40mm, and he gets nae scrubbage

mine used to scrub with 185's on so a fitted 175's and that sorted the problem for me

Yeah i have some 6.5s with 185s on and theyr way too big! you could easily put a 165 or probs a 155 on a 6 if you wanted some streeeeetch :) I'm gonna fit probs a 175s or 165s :)
