Just got my mk2 ignition system ready for my bike carbs but not completely sure on how to wire up the coil

I'm guessing the green wire from the ignition module goes to the positive and black to the negative on the coil?

Which other wires need to connect to the coil, and also which terminal does the rev counter connect to?

vw colours are usualy black =ignition .....green= switched neg to coil ...rev counter should go to switched neg

ignition meening a positive that stays live when cranking but goes dead when key is removed ...........if you was to use abatt poss you wouldnt be able to turn engine off.....if you post pic i can label wires for you

yep wiring codes are 15 = ign

1= sw neg

black being ign

you dont show your ing amp in the pic

just made a new ign loom for mine

the coil has 2x blacks , green , red/black

hall sender has red/black , green white , brown white

that pic you posted is the tci...should have 6 wires ....3 for hall sender , green and black for coil and a earth to the battery

dunno where the other black and red/blk at the coil come from lol

yep it does have those 6 wires

the other 2 wires for the coil are the ones I need to know lol

mainly where the other wire on the positive (15) on the coil goes/comes from

so as I've read for the coil,

on switched neg. 1 = green wire from tci unit, and rev counter

on ignition positive 15 = black wire from tci, and what else?
