6n Photoshoot Pics

Featured Replies

Hi Guys,

Took the car out for a photoshoot a few weeks back and thought i'd share some pics with you lot. I'm very into OEM, as you'll see and have since the photoshoot put on a 6N2 GTI Front Splitter. Anyway here are the pics...

6N2 GTI :)

Cheers for the comments :)

Looks tip top very nice indeed i like it mate, the stearing wheel looks good too.

looks good mate, come on along way now mate

i remeber carrying those bumpers in the back of my car to come and meet you, my mate had to sit in the back because the bumpers were in the way

Yeah its coming along nicely, didn't think when I bought the car that I would take it as far as I have. Probably going to chop it in in a few years time for a Mk1 Golf GTI. Although I love it at the moment, it just needs a lick of paint on the bodywork sorting and it'll be good for shows :)

Are the normal mk5 and mk5 gti knobs the same? whats the difference? sorry it's off topic.

you have the same plans as me golf next, well thats if i don't get too carried away with the polo

howker the gear knobs are different!

the gti one is logo'd with GTI on it

looking great this, love the OEM look you have going.

mk5 roof strips and a mk5 screen will work well as will stubby mirrors

looks so smart that does, is the steering wheel a straight fit?

Thanks for the comments, nice to know what i've done is appreciated :)

H@wK£R: Nah mate they are different, the GTI one is leather with GTI written on it and the Mk5 one has a dimpled material with a chrome ring around the shift pattern. I have a picture at the end of this post of the GTI one.

chrispy: You're right mate, i'm hoping to get a Mk5 screen and roof strips as soon as possible. Stubbys have silly scene tax on them though so I might have to start saving!

Gugz: Yep the wheel is a straight fit, I have written a guide for it. here is the link :)

Colour coded plastic mate, although the ends of them sit flush straight where as the 6n rubber strips curl round edge of the windscreen :)

why thankyou!! :-D

Dont usually like 5 doors but this looks sweet! I need them seats in my life

just my type of styling! Good job mate!

How much has that been lowered?

  • Author

Its about 60/70mm on TA Technix coilovers :)

really like this its smart and simple

and yer as chrispy says a few more 6n2 touches and it will look sick

cant photoshop so this is what my red 6n looks like with 6n2 gti splitter and with depo headlights sort of a copy of the gti projectors
