I just got an insurance quote of £1020 (i'm 19 in April and have been driving for exactly 1 year today)

did you know about polo's before you got one? lol sciroccos are just mk1 golfs with a different body shape so there nice and simple to work on. plus with sites like the sciroccoregister.co.uk, help and parts are easy enough to find.

you need to check it for rust tho mate, just because it looks nice doesn't always mean its solid, how much t&t has it got on it and what spec/trim level is it?

Not sure how much T+T it has left, though the owner (for over 16 years) assured me it would fly though it's next MOT... As for rust it is bubbling around the roof aerial and it's surface browning around one of the bolts on the wing (under the bonnet, and doesn't appear to have infected the structural integrity of the metal itself)

as long as its solid in the right places then its all good, a bit of bubbling can be sorted easy enough by some one that knows what there doing. when i was looking for one i couldn't find one, but at the min there popping up left right and center. mk1 roccos are the best looking car vw have made imo
