Featured Replies

right i need some help guys haven't had my polo for long its a 1.4 cl and i looked under the oil cap when i went to buy the car was a bit creamy but when i got it home was completley black. then last night i had MAJOR problems gettin up a very small hill.

car was judderuing alot more than it should, atm i have a kn air filter in which is pointless!! so that gives i a bit of juddering when pulling off but last night was crazy! i looked under the oil cap today and its a bit creamy coffee coloured!?

so i have no idea what to do or whether it is the gasket or not?

help :(

Thanks:)

is it using any coolant?

Every morning mine has mayo shite on the cap but its just condensation after a few minutes of driving it goes back to black could be just that?

what do you mean is it using the coolant? lol!!

it could be i checked it again last night as i was a bit of a taxi and it seemed to be clear!?

If you were using your car happily as a taxi last night and it hasn't used any coolant I would hazard a guess there isn't much wrong with the head gasket.

sounds more like the mix of air.. maybe take the k and n off and fit the standard box

well i plan to get the k&n off a.s.a.p to be honest!!

its just causing me nothing but hassle lol!!

thanks for everyones advice mucho appreciated :)
