What sort of lowering kit you going for? Full set with new shocks or just springs?

I've just replaced the front shocks as they were alittle spent.

But now, the dreaded petrol leak. :/

I was gonna go with the G60 steels but i'd rather have 14" wheels instead of 15".

Not for sure yet, but first things first; SAVE. Haha. Skint.

The two idea's atm is either save for some nice alloys then, lowering springs, new black grill and uprate the sound system. (obviously once the tanks been sorted)

Or the other idea, lower it on steelies and put spacer's on it and then sound system.

Just there size is tiny. 145/80 r13 :/

haha same with me, I'm just selling anything i dont need lmao.

sounds nice, just keep in mind alloys will effect the insurance cos its a 'modification' apparently

white polos always seem to look good, you should post a progress thread for people to see as you do it up

steels and spacers is what i was thinkin aswell, but i think i'll just forget the spacers now.

I really want to go with the first but them alloys dont come cheap; well they do but still a long time away till I can afford them! haha

yeah i was thinking G60's but decided i didnt want 15" wheels, probs would have looked too big after lowering it aswell.

so i'm still on the lookout for something else!

I really want to crack on with modifying it like now. And its going to be at least two months till a can afford the alloys. :/

So am thinking about fitting some springs, drop it 40/40 on the standard shocks. Swop to a clean grill, get a headunit then save for the alloys. But am worried it'll look shite with the standard dinky wheels. I mean, gotta sort the tank an'all; and the front shocks are abit spend so I've picked up a pair for £25 + £10 postage that a need to fit as well.
