Hi all, just wondering if standard size GT tyres (165/65/13) will fit onto a 13x5 wheel or will i need something slightly narrower?

anyone know?

i have fitted 165 65 13s to a 4.5J wheel, looked a little odd but went on fine. they suit s 5.5J much better.

No mate, some others i may be getting. the back wheels currently on my motor are 4.5J

to the top again...

got the wheels, going to need some tyres soon. The wheels had 155/70 tyres on them, stock tyres for 4.5j... Would like a little extra grip so still thinking of 165/65/13's. Really could do with some advice!

You could put 205s on them - stretch-bias seems to have become normal but its not.

For a decade,for the Fiestas XR2 and XR2i from '82-'92, Ford used 185x60x13s on a unique design standard-fitment 5x13 steel rim and 5x13 optional alloy rim.

I'm using those tyres on a 5.5x13 and i have flat sidewall.

iam in simaler thing i have a breedy so tyre space at a premium (well more on 1 side than the other thats breaddys for yer) iam after a good tyre set up for my 5.5s

i still have those 175 60 13s if you want them mart
