as some of you may know i got tugged by the old bill a few weeks back and told to make the scirocco road worthy or it would be taken away and crushed. i did as they asked but in doing so its lost all its personality and i've totally fell out of love with it, plus i've just bought some thing else and wanna go a different way with that, so the rocco td is either gonna get stripped and scrapped or sold on if i have any interest in it over the next month. so me and my mate thought we'd go and get some last snaps of it before it goes and he bought his gti along for the ride...

we started of by gaining entry in to an abandoned youth club car park for some dirty dub action

then john wanted to wash his car so we went to the jet wash and he got his crack out

after that we retied to an industrial estate in the hope of finding a good location, we didn't but took some pics any way

a clue to how we got that much smoke lies in this photo

and as this is probably the last thread i'll make about this car (apart from the for sale post), heres a few choice photo's from my ownership [cue sad music]

ah man i cant believe that, what was wrong with it? if i could get insured on that i would buy it off of you, but seriously this rocco has to be my favourite one of all time, especially back in the old thread when you said you reached 88 miles an hour and it just looked incredibly evil! love it man..

Hope the new project is a gooden, and i want to see it on here.

thanks every one, i'm proper gutted getting rid but when you loose the love for a car it just becomes a mode of transport. plus now i have the other one a few things have kinda fallen into place that could make the new rocco fucking sweet (16v and hopefully 15'' rsl cults for starts).

it was illegal due to the scrubbage, the 2 inches of poke, the all red rears, the side exit held on by rope fed through the boot and the German plates. and the copper said that was what he could see before even trying to look for problems with it

not much really mate, just the wheels, red indicators, exhaust held on with a tow rope and no front plate. its not just that tho, its been one thing after another braking on it for a while, for every thing i sort out 2 more things fuck up, its got an oil leak i can't seem to fix and now the gearbox is fucked on it. just lost all interest in it now which is gutting cause i proper loved this car at one point.

probably mate but they don't match, the rears are the standard ones but the fronts are from a corrado. in fact i think i can still get the matching corrado rear bench if that any good to you?

The 6A lump. 1 bhp more than the 9A, but i think you have to use the VW exhaust manifold and a few other swap overs.
