That's a bit more like it...fact stands 60bhp/litre is pretty pathetic. Good looking car externally, nice sound but it's not really a proper performance car...obvious as soon as you look at the seats etc. Will be nice for the few good days we get, least you don't live in the north of Scotland!

Friend has a TVR 350C when I asked him what it was like all he could say was 'expensive'...he sold an Exige for it...silly billy.

P.S I think the latest generation Cupra R is available with the 240PS version of the 2.0 TSI engine, so he'd be right to say that...

BMW screw over 400bhp out of 4.0 and Porsche manage over 400bhp without forced induction and only 3.6/3.8 litres...TVR's smokey old british technology can't have done them much favours.

sorry cupra fr`s are 240 bhp , and so are honda s2000 , and 4.0ltr v8`s . my point still remains that its a bit disapointing , when other can get so much from their cc

There are a lot of lazy V8 motors out there. My dads BMW E39 535i is only 240 bhp. Still sound and feel great to drive.

what is it with people and bhp pub talk the car is lush and its about driveability not bhp (obvisously bhp helps) like an integra dc5 only has 220bhp but its the best fwd handling car in the world! with championship white paint and looks that make me sex wee it doesnt matter if a 911 has 3.8 litres and a gazillion horsepowers it still looks like a squashed vw beetle. its a 1994 car so obvisiously technology is better nowadays but fact is a tvr is still a performance car and MAN people are jeolous! rant over coming brighton mate?

exactly the sort of thing you expect from the idiot in the renault, not exactly the greatest car history tav a g40 project that never got off the ground except for hoarding parts, a gt with added rear window falling out option and an faceless clio?

What crawled up your ass and died? Settle yourself. Faceless Clio... that'll be right. Had plenty happy miles in my GT with suspension and brakes sorted, just never go round to the engine. Are you some how annoyed at me because someone I know didn't give a code reader back to someone you know?
