just popped down aldi to get some milk and came back with this !

they have a few air tools in at the moment. some farily cheep

has anyone else used one of these from there and are they any good, pretty sure its not going to live up to my snap on air tools but for a tenner cant go wrong and comes with 3 year warranty!

Yes seen these in Aldi before along with other air tools but my compressor isn't powerful enough to justify the purchase. I take it you have something like a 24Ltr compressor? Mines only like a 6Ltr which was originally bought for a nail gun.

cheap air tools ftw! if i ever get my compressor working i'm gonna stock up on cheap tools, no point in spending shit loads just for them to sit in a corner and never egt used

we got a industrial one for work , 1 off the lads shot me wwiv it and i could not sit down for a week lol but these are god for doing little rust spots

yea got a big snap on compresser unsure of the L think its more than 50L tho , its HUGE ! got it second hand off a mate last year ! bargin price aswell

i brought one aswell, its good for litle paint/rust spots.

i used it to clean upsome wheels and it wasnt bad, but the sand goes everywere :p

yes they still call it sand blasting - but beach sand is supposed to be a bad media unless full respirator is used

you need a couple of wire wheels and a masonary drill... :-D works like a charm, kicks like a bitch tho, so be careful, nearly skinned my legs twice... also goggles are a must, kicks up ALOT of dust an shit.

had a "blast" with it today seems to be quite good , had to change the connector on the actual gun as it dident fit my airline connections , but heres some pics of what i did quick today

i have a sandblaster too :-) , just buy normal sand from B&Q and you can use them to gradually work it down to how far you want/need to go, i didn't bother gettin the specific grit it said too on the box, and it worked perfect for what i was after.

i didn't mind the extra time it took as at least i knew that it was in control more if you know what i mean :-)

dident just held it fairly close , need eye protection as the it flies up at your eyes and hurts !

A full on face mask i used, it was a full face grinding mask but was perfik i tried nose and mouth masks and grinding goggles but the cand kept blocking the mask and getting through the goggles i had little pools of sand at the bottom of the goggles

when yovue got them stupid ikle breather holes at the top and bottom of the glasses and shot blasting wheels you cant always work out where the sand is gna go and the mast was only £15 from Buy + Queue

i hate B&Q with a passion , so bloody expensive for stuff , screwfix FTW its like half the price , might have a look for when then , cost of health for £15 hummmm
