Red Mk3 (mk2f) Square Back In Darlington / Bishop

I was at the BP garage on North Road, Darlington on Wednesday using the air pump and a nice red MK3 pulled up at the pumps.

There were 3 maybe 4 lads in the car. It looked fairly standard, had a de-badged grill and think the words on the back were painted black

but it was a well tidy example. There are loads of them around but these lads defo noticed my coupe and were paying a lot of attention to it.

I was heading the same way out of town towards Bishop Auckland and they kept looking back at me then pulled over just out of Cockerton to let me past then followed for a bit. I joined the A1 South and the red polo stayed on the roundabout.

It was with another car, metalic pink/red, maybe a 106, can't remember.

Saw the red polo again today heading towards North Road, think it might be somebody who goes to the college?

Was this anybody on the forum? (If not, why not? lol)

Hope they weren't planning to steal my car
