Important bit!!! Suffers from intermittent cutting out, usually a stutter, though has cut out completly a couple times, suspecting fuel pump as it occurs when I put my foot down, but I've put too much money into this car and don't want to go any further.

Car is driveable, and I've done a couple thousand miles despite the problem and not had to call the AA out so I hope it'll get you home!

He's a 1.3 CL Coupe

91 J reg, 80,000 miles

Mot till may 2010! Tax till October

Only advisory on the mot was a bit of play in the steering rack.

He's a very clean car underneath, apart from the oil you see under the manifold, just a stain now, but oil leak was a faulty oil pressure switch and was replaced.

Body work is average, your usual small dings here and there, aswell as medium dent below the driver's side rear light, and one on the passenger side front wheel arch, plus a spot of rust on the same wing which I found when I de-trimmed the side of the car, which is the only spot of rust I can find! And a spot of debadging!

Previous owner had fitted 6x9's in the parcel shelf, which were blown and so I replaced it with an unmolested shelf and bought new speakers, alpines front and rear fitted to the factory mountings.

Interior is fairly good condition, gt clocks, all the usual quality noises, and a few scuffs on the rear bench where my bmx has been in and out but no nasty rips.

Now I have no reciepts to back this up, but:

At about 70,000 miles:

Replaced headgasket

Waterpump

Cambelt

Fanbelt

Distributor cap

Plugs

Oil pressure switch

Coolant & oil change

Air filter

And less than 5000 miles ago:

New battery

Coil

Coolant temperature switch

Fuel filter

Rear brake cylinder

Plugs again

and ht leads

Says here too, mot till may 2010, tax till this october, advisory was play in the steering rack, went through fine otherwise and then the problem started!

Got a lil confused over the T&T as earier you said they run out in May...and that you'd renew both before sale...and now it's taxed til Oct and MoT til May...

Yeah, that was the case, but I didn't get rid of the car and so taxed and tested and kept it.

I had to change the fuel pump relay recently as the pump wasn't working, previous to this the fuse went, so as it's 'kangarooing' I'm thinking the fuel pump is next, but the motor factors say it's about 110 quid plus vat so I've drawn the line, it has to go!

Just checked the depths, 3 corners about 3mm, front left about 6mm, so maybe not plenty but enough

On ebay only 20 mins to go!! Anyone?
