Mk4 Polo 1.6

Featured Replies

Was driving down from chessington a few nights ago, a fox jumped out, I swirved out of the way and hit a wall. Was told its not worth to repair it, and i need to get rid of it. Unfortunately, I cant get any pics of it right now, as its in Dorking, outside the recovery centre. (And I'm in central london) From what I can remember, engine starts up fine, can set it into 1st & 2nd gear but not reverse, and coolant was leaking, due to the messed up front. (Would assume radiator got ravaged, cant really remember)

So, more to the point, wanting to sell this car as a whole, rather than break it up. Mileage of the engine is 60K (just gone over, something like 60130), its had a belt change & waterpump done at 53K, and its had an oil service done every 3K by me. (10w40 magnatec & oil filter from gsf) the last one was done a few weeks ago, at approx the 59K mark. Thats all I can say with regards to the engine.

Again, I'm not looking to break this car, purely because I'm at university at the moment, and I dont have much time to spare. What little time left I have is spent working overtime at halfords, to save up for another car. Abit gutted about the current situation, but what can you do? ;) With regards to tax & m.o.t, tax will finish at the end of this month & m.o.t at july I believe. Anyways, thanks for looking.

P.S - Almost forgot to mention, Its an R-reg, so thats 1998. Any questions, either reply in here or send us a PM :)

Bump action..

Just wanting to let people know, that if no one wants to come and pick up the car, then I'm going to have to let it go to the scrappies. I aint lookin for much, £200 or so and I'll happily let it go. Just need something towards the potty for the new car. Much appreciated fellas.

Forgot to mention, there's a clifford alarm in there. It works perfectly fine as well. Comes with the little remote as well, so you've got remote (un)locking as well. That alone should definetly justify the £200 mark, if you're wanting to part with more £££, then all the better :)
