i have a 1998 1L POLO and the mot's due up at the end of the month,

some rear passengers have complained about the rear of the car wobbeling slightly ????

can anyone help me with this wierd problem and would it pass its mot with this?

also the other day it wouldnt start so i had to ring someone out, he cleaned the distributor cap and said it needed a good run on the motorway

and its going through oil like its going out of fashion and the emmitions were through the roof,

I'm getting a oil and air filter, I'm chainging the oil,

I've just bought a bosch lambda sensor for £53

what else do i need to do?

I would say before you go spending loads of money on stuff you might not need, put it through the MOT and see what it fails on.

I'd say a rear wheel needs balancing at the very least.

Get it MOT'd to see what it fails on. Could always get the bits fixed and the retest done for free.
