If you're prepared to split the engine, I'm looking for a complete head. I don't need any ancillaries, just the head itself with all the valves and valve gear in, and the cam as well preferably, although I can possibly manage without the cam.

If splitting I'll most likely have all the oil breather gear from you, though it would have to be posted... will know for sure after the weekend.

Yeah it would need to be couriered as I'm not planning any trips to Devon in the near future.

The head will be for sending away for porting and polishing, so I might ask you to have it couriered straight to the guy doing the headwork, to save it coming to me, and then me having to get it couriered to him, as then I would have to pay 2 courier fees.

I need to get in touch with the guy doing headwork and check if thats ok with him.

I will hopefully know by Saturday evening or Sunday if I want to go ahead with this.

I'd rather buy a head with the cam still in than buy them separately. Will work out cheaper and easier that way.

okay no worries... urm i'd want 50 for it mate as i gota split it and let down someone for the cam and leave the manifold on you'll also get the dizzy with it aswel ....have no idea on price for courier mate you'd have to check ??

Would you be able to remove the manifold? I don't want it, and unless its really knackered you could make some money selling it.

£50 for the head sounds ok

cool okay, now when this gets picked up fro the courier if you go fru the sale would this need to be ina wooden/platstic box or will a strong carboard one do?

and i'll see what i can do on the manifold but as you may know its easier to leave em on to remove the head, plus you could sell it on to get some cash back i just want rid tbh lol
