would need diagnostic suite to find out what is at fault (if anything) and reset light.

or remove the bulb, replace the indicator with a switch black (not advisable as airbags are handy)

when i ditched the airbag on mine i opened the clocks up and put some blutack over the bulb! best mod ever! lol

Loose connection, or could of been in an accident and air bags could of been activated you neva know, like bobby says get it checked.

do what i did and take the bulb out, that cures it. never had a problem since

the garage told me they wanted 400 quid to fix it  f**k that so i drove round with it on and never did me any harm

find someone on here with vagcom, get them to plug it in and see the fault it brings up - you may only have to reset it, or you may need a new module or bag itself.

dont go near VW or any garage come to that cos they will only bend you over and shaft you without greasing you up first

That's dry!!! :smirk:

iirc if you just remove the bulb but keep the airbag then technically it shouldn't pass an MOT.

edit: my mistake, i was getting confused with the ABS light.

airbag doesnt affect mot even with the light on, as said above 5 mins with vag com will sort it better than taking the bulb out as at least the bag will work hopefully never need to though.

mine was on since i got it for about 2 years. i had in connected to vagcom to check out other probelms and that turned it off. it was a previous error that had never been reset.

but... i wouldn't leave it cos it could be anything. def get it checked out!

I've got this problem, I think its because I've replaced my steering wheel with a biscuit sized momo wheel.

How do i take the bulb out? is it easy? any guides on here for it?

I bought a boss with the resistor for airbag cars but that doesnt seem to have worked.

Sorry to hijack the thread!

pretty straight forward to take the clocks out few screws here and there!

not hard, just have a play

if you still got a airbag then its best to get fault checked.
