Hi, this is a bit of a weird problem.

Everytime I steer right, e.g going round a roundabout the drivers side door speaker breaks up and loses quality, and sometimes goes off, as soon as I stop turning it is fine again and comes back perfect, and it is fine when turning left.

Could this just be a loose connection or something in the speaker?

Probably a loose connection just pop the cover off screw the speaker out and have a look also check the head unit wiring and i don't no if mk5s have tweeters on the dash but check there wiring too as on my mk4 there on the same line as the speakers.

Would guess so. Could just be to do with G force. Check that the wires are a good fit.

If you have the system on ,try wiggling the connector to see if you can make it go off.

At worse it could be the speaker that needs replacing

I've just replaced the speaker 2 weeks ago.

I think it was becasue it was so cold that we couldn't feed the wire through the little hole on the speaker connectors so we just wrapped round and masked them on. I'll feed it through properly in the easter hols.

I think tweeters defo need replacing aswel as they are crackling now.

also check the cables in the rubber housing that goes from the body to the door, as when i pulled mine back i realised that some of the wires had the coating stripped as if it had been trapped or something.
