280mm Brake Conversion

Featured Replies

Calliper carriers to take original 16v brakes and allow an upgrade to 280mm G60 discs for the 16V Polo. I also have the calipers if needed although they need rebuilding. This does not include discs.

I'm asking what I paid £50 collection from Hatfield or Coventry.

I will get a quote on postage and pics if needed.

Thanks

Hi, no sorry I don't have the hubs. I will find out about postage by the end of the week and let you know.

Thanks

Got a quote for postage today £15 for calipers and carriers with a delivery aim of 3 days.

Postage for just the carriers would be £7 as I believe the calipers are the same as what comes on a 16v Polo (Lucas 54)

Thanks

Could do just the carriers for £50 posted, most of the value is in the carriers as the calipers are very common and can easily be found.

As for if they fit a Gti I'm not sure. They may well do if they have the same 256mm setup as standard. Maybe someone could help with this info?

Thanks

yes iirc 6n 16v and 6n2 gti are the same set up and are also used on mk3 ibiza cupra's so maybe worth while advertising on seatcupra.net or simular.
