This come with everything you need to put the GT engine into a Mk2.

- GT engine and gearbox

- Inline fuel pump, accumulator and fuel filter + in tank lift pump and sender

- Wiring for fuel pumps - (not all conversion that are for sale seem to list this but you need them for the Mk2 conversion)

- ECU Diag Wires - (not really needed for the conversion but means you can hook up some diagnostic software)

- ECU with standard chip

- GT Engine loom and fuse box

- Standard AirBox and Polo AFM

- Standard GT manifold

- Brand new Fuel filter

- Spare Thermostat housing

The engine loom has been labelled up with where to connect the wires to make it as easy as possible for some one to do the conversion. The loom is all in one piece except for the head light plugs which have been modified so I can run the twin headlights and the the plug for the Horn has been removed as its differed to the mk2 one. This can be connected up using spade connectors.

The plugs, plug leads, oil and oil filter are new as they were changed at the end of Jan and its done a couple hundred miles since then. The cam belt, water pump and alternator belt was replaced 12 months ago.

The engine is a really good one and it pulls really strong and on a RR last year it made 87bhp with a chip and a piperX air filter.

The only issue it has is there is a small water leak from the Thermostat housing but its so small that its never been an issue but It does come with another housing.

There is a basic Guide in my build thread to help anyone wanting to do the Mk2 GT conversion and I have a quite a few photos in there as well.

Price: £250 collected from Leamington

If you have any questions please let me know,

Cheers,

Mark

Yes, it is a reasonalble price but being a student with only the occasional shifts here and there. Its hard work gathering money!

What was the milage of the engine?

ill take the fuel pumps and wiring loom for it off your hands

or is it all being sold together?

if not how much do you want for it?

I would prefer to sell it all together.

The engine is about 140-150 thousand miles I believe and initially came out of a J reg GT.

The Spec of the engine has now changed and the price has been reduced

Any questions please let me know.

Thanks
