they undo off the box with 8 mm multi spline key , their simple todo , if you put the car in gear and then undo them . if the cars in the air with the wheels off and you have vented brakes stick a screw driver in so they stop turnning then undo them , if you aint got vented brakes then you may need a pal that can put the brakes on so you can undo them

ok fella

8mm multispline?? u mean allent key or star drive??? ... i assume allen?

well their not a star drive and their not an allen key their a 12 sided allen key , and i believe their called mutispline , you do need to be careful as the round off easly so tap the tool in with a hammer then undo , ok mate

proper name is XZN-spline bit. Most places that do automotive tools should have them, inc halfords. They look like this:

it's not an allen key or torx bit!

yeh thats the puppy... i have a 10mm bit but not a 8 gerrrrr ... just ordered.. a mini set on gaybay!!!.. so al be able to get it sorted in a few days!!!

annoyingly if i had to correct size torx bit it would have fit!!!! ..lol.. ahh well.. a need for the correct tools dnt hert... much!

problem with trying to bodge it with a torx or allen bit is that if you round one of the bolts it's angle grinder time! And they do tend to be pretty bloody tight so it's important to use the correct tool.
