Started Then Cut Out?

Featured Replies

Went to go and pick up my old GT last night that I sold to a mate last year (the one in my avatar).

Its been standing for a few months now so went and bought a wee drop of petrol and had a new battery kicking about so took that aswell. Got to my mates house, put petrol in it connected the battery up and she started first time no bother, 10 seconds later it cut out and refused to start :? .We tried bumping it aswell but nothing.

Anyone got any ideas?,don't think its the fuel pump as it had a new one just before he took it aff the road, could the fuel lines be airlocked?

Any help would be appricated, if i dont got and pick it up he's gonna scrap it this week  and I really want my old car back!

Danny.
