I want to find out what these part numbers mean, I know they are gearboxes, I want to know what they are off.

085 301 106

085 301 103

Neither number comes up any of the four brands!

I can get 085 301 103 to work in google but it's the 106 I cant find. :( I have them both sitting here and want to know what the ratios are. The 103 came off a 1.3 so I'm assuming the 106 came off a 1.6 but I'm not convinced.

but those aren't gearbox codes, they are most likely the casing part numbers if you have read them off the gearbox casing.

The codes should be stamped onto he very top of the box right next to where the box meets the engine block. It'll be some digits such as 8P or ATV followed by some numbers.
