Once again I'm posting to find out how to do something,

Ok, the owner before me had window tint film applied it now over a year old, and is purple looking, therefore i want to remove it and dont want the hassle of removing it using binbags and ammonia, like most guides say

Can someone correct me if I'm wrong but would this work,

heating the film up with a hair-dryer and then peeling it with a razor blade, and once removed getting rid of the adhesive with some remover, What I'm worried is would the 2nd layer come too with this, and if i miss that its meant to be hard to peel

I had window tint on my 6n for bout 2years, decided to take it off, all i did was peel it off by hand leavin just the adhesive on the window, then used a stanley bale and some soapy water in a spray bottle to remove it, was easy enough to do when i did it.

I've read on other forums that the best way is to heat it up with a hairdryer at first and peel a corner off then heat and pull gently, to remove the adhesive they used Auto Glym Tar Remover or something similar or any other solvent remover like isopropranol ( please excuse my spelling )
