Hi guys,

Got my y11 Prom in mid-June and me and a few mates are after something slightly different, (and cheaper) to a limo. One of the more popular ideas was to hire a Splitty Samba bus or similar to take us in- retro and so much cooler than American plastic.

Was just wondering if anyone knew where i could hire a van for a reasonable price, or had any ideas/tips regarding this? None of us are loaded btw so any 'hire a chopper' ideas are slighly out of the question.

Last year i had mine and we wanted to be different two so what we did was get droped off in 2 Nissan Silvia S13 and S15 drift car's

Then stod in the middle then the drift cars drifted round us with green and gold tyres so made green and gold smoke then after about 10mins we walked thow the smoke with the cars headlight shining on us. Looked the tits

Btw the green and gold was are skool colours if you was wounding why

I Got dropped off in a Ferrari 612 Scaglietti missis was none too happy climbing out the back of it

(dads mate, so only had to pay fuel )

haha, i like the idea of the drift cars but there aint room! Anyone know how to hire a splitty?

see if you can get a nice convoy of dubs to take you all down. i was gonna do that but couldnt be arsed to organise it all so just went with some mates in the cheapest limo possible with "WICKED!!!!!" down the side.... :lol:

I went in a 1920's Austin Limo. was savage. Some guys went in the mystery machine, and tractors and limos and motorbikes and also bentley, ferrai's etc.

Find someone with a splitty and ask nicely?

The convoy of dubs sounds alright. I need to find transport for 4-9 of us... thats why i was thinking of the bus. Tried an air-cooled forum a while back, everything i got was about all the legal issues, which while 1 or 2 posts outlining what i should know is fine, 15 of the same is just stupid! came to you guys cos i know at least you'll give entertaining replies!

I'm sure somewhere in your area has some sort of split bus for hire like these ones you can take on holiday, get googling or just yellow pages...
