Matt’s done the arch on the drivers side today, flared the passenger side a little more & played with the rear bump stops a bit to keep the tyres off the arches…… too dark to take pic’s when finished

There’s a bit more body repairs to be done before the rest of the car becomes blue

those arches been welded on the rear ?

dont look half as good with new tyres on either :(

Edited by boomzor

yes i`m loving the build up , its going to look the muts when its finished

one thing that nearly made me sex wee is that grill i dont think i`ve seen one like that before , really cool

looking mighty fine, loving the work that has been put into this, great efforts

yes, rear arches are welded..... Matt does paint & bodywork for a living :-D

rear tyre's are to make it legal more than anything, the 195/45x13's were near the wear indicator's........ Matt ain't got the £££ for a new set of 195/45's at the mo

What's the underside of the car like? Are you just getting an external respray because trust me i've been there and done that and it's not worth it if your underside is as bad or worse than your car was on top as you will always be fighting a losing battle with rust unless you get it all done properly! I spent a lot of money realising this and ended up selling the car because I just couldn't afford to do what needed to be done to keep it going.

What's the underside of the car like?

don't worry, Matt does paint & bodywork for a living

he would'nt bother with it if it was a rot box...... even if it did need a lot of welding he's more than capable, he had to fabricate a lot of floor parts for a 1972 NSU Prinz he did the other year

sexayyyy

This is more like what I would call a rat look car.

Looks really good, especially the front.

Great build thread, he's very talented!

love this thread! looking forward to seeing more

dont paint it,leave it as is,love the primer starsky and hutch stripe!
