1 set has been already trimmed for 6N mk. 4 Polos and the other set has not been trimmed yet. The untrimmed drivers side light has a slight small 'shatter' on the inside of it but is only noticeable when you look close up. Most people wouldn't bother to mention it, but I'm just being honest. The picture below shows how unoticeable it is:

Both of these sets DO NOT have bulb holders, though you can buy these cheaply from any breakers or VW forums

Not that low as I have 2 other people that said they'll have them -just waiting for payment (& I paid £67 for a set). See the ads above for how much they are being sold for on ebay

Yeah, but as said, it's the right hand light in the photo above, so you can see that it's not obviously noticeable. It's on the inside of the lens and not the outside, so not all the way through.
